View the slideshow to see some of my early knives as well as some of my latest. I enjoy working with metal and making knives of all shapes and sizes...from working knives to whimsical art pieces.
I prefer to make forged and Damascus knives but my early knives include stock removal. Various types of steel are used including 1084 and 15N20 for Damascus and other tool steels to get the effects and cutting edge I require. Decorative techniques include scroll work and carved metal handles. Various types of wood are used for handle materials including two of my favorites, burl maple and mesquite. |
